POSITION SUMMARY

The
Visual Merchandising Manager
will coordinate with teams and vendors for Visual Merchandising needs, lead in project management for international updates, and support new market rollouts. This person will be detail oriented and keep the team’s portfolio and documents current, and perform other duties as required. The Visual Merchandising Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Global Visual Merchandising.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead international seasonal fixture updates from concept to in-store activation

  • Build and maintain project timelines, master calendars, and launch schedules to ensure on-time execution and cross-functional visibility

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Retail Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Visual Merchandising) on add/deletes, launch timing, and graphics

  • Own weekly vendor status updates

  • Own internal Creative Briefs with clear timelines and deliverables

  • Lead international planogram development for seasonal updates

  • Conduct prototype reviews and lead fit, function, and quality requirements, providing clear technically informed vendor feedback

  • Track budgets and estimates, create POs, and approve invoices to support on-budget execution

  • Support the Senior Manager of Global VM with rollout of new markets as needed

  • Manage all maintenance requests for global permanent fixtures both internally and externally

  • Keep all in office fixtures organized and ensure all fixtures are updated and stocked for the latest updates in collaboration with VM team

  • Update Layout Guide deck with approved layout guides

  • Maintain and organize team portfolio of competitive merchandising as inspiration to keep ahead of innovation

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 4+ years of experience in visual merchandising within the beauty industry

  • International beauty experience preferred

  • Experience in planogramming and in-store visual execution for permanent displays

  • Experience in working with external vendors, including prototype reviews

  • Collaborative spirit and positive attitude

  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, forward-thinking mindset, and self-motivation to organize and set priorities

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to negotiate

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite as well as project management tools

  • Ability to create, edit, and present planograms/layout guides in Adobe Illustrator

  • Must be available to be in the El Segundo based office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
