Job Description
The Territory Sales Manager is the face of Resideo to Contractors and Distributors in an assigned geographical territory. Be the front line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. You will provide education of Resideo product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops. You will maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP). Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, clients, and customers. The ideal candidate will be located in the West Dallas/Fort Worth, TX territory.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Initiate and lead large contractor conversion sales opportunities.

  • Conduct product and technical training to Contractor and Distributor personnel.

  • Present the Resideo story at dealer meetings, trade shows and other industry events.

  • Gather competitive intelligence and market trends/insights.

  • Conduct “opportunity advancing sales calls” with Contractors and Distributors.

  • Prospect for potential new customers.

  • Campaign Management.

  • Customer Reporting.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 2+ years of sales experience

  • Valid driver's license

  • Sales Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or other trade.

  • Customer Relations Management (CRM) software experience.

  • A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices.

  • Excellent team and communication skills.

Hiring Salary Range : The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $46387.5 to $101875.0 per year but varies by specific work location. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.

Incentive Eligible (SIP) : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 60% of your annual salary, and prorated based on hire date. Attaining your sales target qualifies you for 100% of your annual sales incentive, while surpassing sales targets during the performance period enables you to earn additional incentive pay.
