Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic and experienced teachers to join our team! Whether, you are looking for educational work experience or simply want to impact the life of one student at a time, Huntington is the place for you. As an Educational Instructor, you will assist students individually and in small groups, helping them understand foundational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is patient, flexible, understanding, and has a passion for education!

Responsibilities:

  • Help walk students through new concepts using prepared curriculum.

  • Assist students in preparing for exams and completing assignments

  • Teach problem-solving skills, mental math, and reading strategies.

  • Communicate with other teachers and students

Qualifications
:

  • Previous experience as a Teacher/Tutor is acceptable, educational certifications strongly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Applicants must have reliable transportation, and be willing to drive into the office.

  • Applicants must have evening availability (3pm to 9pm) at least 4 days per week.

Standard Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday

11am - 1pm & 3pm - 9pm

Saturday

9am - 1pm

Holiday Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday

9am - 1pm & 2:30pm - 6:30pm

Saturday

9am - 1pm
