Job Description

Location: Remote - US only

Compensation: $65-85K base + bonus per successful hire

We're a remote-first marketing agency growing quickly and we need a Talent Acquisition Manager to own our entire hiring engine. You'll be the first full-time recruiter on the team, reporting directly to the founder, and your work will directly determine how fast we can grow.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll source, screen, and shortlist candidates across marketing, sales, creative, and operations roles - and you'll build a pipeline so we're never hiring reactively.

What You'll Own -

  • Full-cycle recruiting for 8-12 roles per year across paid media, video editing, account management, sales, and operations

  • Sourcing across LinkedIn Recruiter, Wellfound, Indeed, and niche agency communities

  • First-round screening calls and written candidate assessments

  • Interview loop coordination, reference checks, and offer logistics

  • Building and maintaining a bench of pre-qualified candidates

  • Tracking and reporting on time-to-fill, sourcing channel ROI, offer-accept rate, and 90-day retention

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a marketing agency, SaaS company, or remote-first business

  • A track record of filling roles in under 30 days

  • Strong written communication - async-first culture

  • Comfort owning both high-volume sourcing AND high-judgment screening

  • US-based with availability during 9am-5pm CT core hours

How To Apply
As part of this application, you'll be asked to submit a short Loom video answering a few short questions about your recruiting experience. The Loom is required - applications without it may not be reviewed. We use the Loom to assess communication skills and role fit before scheduling interviews.

Practice Questions

💡Technical Questions (3)
  • 1.How do you approach building a proactive pipeline for diverse marketing and agency roles, ensuring you aren't just hiring reactively?
  • 2.What specific recruiting metrics do you track to evaluate the health of a hiring engine, and how do you use that data to improve your process?
  • 3.Walk me through your process for conducting a first-round screen and written assessment for a role like an Account Manager in a remote marketing agency.
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to fill a difficult role in under 30 days. What was your strategy and the outcome?
  • 2.Describe a situation where you had to manage high-volume sourcing while still maintaining high-judgment screening. How did you balance the two?
  • 3.Give me an example of how you've effectively communicated and collaborated in an async-first, remote work culture.
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You are the first full-time recruiter reporting to a founder who is used to handling hiring themselves. The founder is constantly changing job requirements mid-search, causing you to restart sourcing. How do you handle this?
  • 2.It's month one, and you have zero pre-qualified candidates in the bench, but the company just opened three urgent roles across paid media, sales, and operations. What are your first 30 days?
