Practice Questions

💡Technical Questions (3)
  • 1.Can you walk me through how you manage quality progression from TS1/Proto through to Mass Production with a Contract Manufacturer?
  • 2.Explain the relationship between a SCAR and the 5 Why methodology. How do you ensure a SCAR doesn't just result in a band-aid fix?
  • 3.How do you utilize FMEA and historical Pareto data when establishing quality controls for a new Compute system hardware build at a CM?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to represent the Quality function to a cross-functional team (Engineering and Operations) who were pushing to release a product despite a lingering quality issue.
  • 2.Describe a situation where you had to issue a SCAR to a Contract Manufacturer who was resistant to the finding. How did you handle the relationship while enforcing quality standards?
  • 3.Give me an example of a time you defined or updated a Quality SOP or Work Instruction to improve manufacturing compliance or yield.
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You are at a TS1 build and a complex server hardware failure occurs, but the root cause is elusive and the engineering team is pressuring you to clear the line to keep the build on schedule. How do you approach this?
  • 2.You have to present a monthly quality KPI dashboard to executive management showing a recent spike in field returns for a consumer electronics product. How do you structure your PPT presentation?
