  • Maintains a safe/clean work site, identifies and correct safety hazards/violations and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to quickly resolve field clashes

  • Reviews project plans, P&ID’s, single-line diagrams, and determine the feasibility of construction as well as potential value engineering opportunities

  • Manages multiple work fronts simultaneously while adhering to Tesla specifications, procedures, and policies

  • 1.How do you approach reviewing P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and project plans to determine construction feasibility and identify value engineering opportunities?
  • 2.Walk me through your process for establishing dimensional layout and control, and ensuring contractor as-builts accurately reflect field installations.
  • 3.Given the need to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously, how do you sequence the installation of Dry/Wet Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural systems to avoid clashes and meet tight deadlines?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to execute a project with an extremely compressed timeline and no room for failure. How did you plan and drive the field work?
  • 2.Describe a situation where you identified a significant safety hazard or field clash. How did you coordinate with stakeholders to resolve it quickly?
  • 3.Give an example of when you had to use 'outside the box' thinking to solve a complex construction problem that wasn't addressed in the standard specifications.
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You are managing a critical in-field shutdown window, and a contractor's installed material does not match the design documents. The shutdown window is closing in a few hours. What do you do?
  • 2.You have multiple contractors working on different systems at the same work front, and tensions are rising over workspace and schedule conflicts. How do you handle this?
