Job Title: Store Manager – Luxury Retail (Madison Avenue)
Position Overview
The Store Manager will lead the launch and ongoing success of a flagship boutique on Madison Avenue. This role requires a highly experienced luxury retail leader with a deep understanding of the Madison Avenue clientele, a proven track record in store openings, and the ability to cultivate an elite client base. The Store Manager will act as a brand ambassador, driving business performance while upholding the brand’s Italian heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of store opening, including hiring, training, operational setup, and launch execution

  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing luxury sales team

  • Deliver exceptional client experiences aligned with luxury service standards

  • Establish and grow a strong client book, with a focus on VIP and repeat clientele

  • Drive sales performance, KPIs, and profitability for the boutique

  • Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation

  • Oversee daily operations including inventory, reporting, and compliance

  • Partner with corporate teams on marketing initiatives, events, and client activations

  • Represent the brand within the Madison Avenue luxury community

Qualifications

  • Extensive luxury retail management experience on Madison Avenue (required)

  • Proven store opening experience (flagship or boutique preferred)

  • Strong existing client book and network within the luxury market

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to recruit and develop top talent

  • Deep understanding of luxury clienteling and CRM strategies

  • Excellent business acumen with a track record of exceeding sales goals

  • Availability and willingness to travel to Italy for brand training
