Job Description

This role is on-site in San Francisco in the Dogpatch neighborhood.

About Giga
Giga has recently raised a $61M Series A and is working with Fortune 500 customers to deploy the next generation of customer experience - real-time AI agents that can understand emotion, resolve issues instantly, and scale across the world's largest enterprises.

Industry leaders like DoorDash trust Giga with their most complex support and operations workflows across voice, chat, and email, in high-stakes regulated environments where accuracy and compliance matter. We're at an exciting inflection point.

While we've found real commercial success, our ambitions are larger: to become the go-to AI platform for all enterprise automation, powered by our voice superintelligence. The work affects millions of people every day, and our team has the autonomy to make true impact - with brilliant founders, a clear path forward, and the kind of momentum that defines generational companies.

If being part of that resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you!

About The Role
Engineering-first AI companies don't get attention by accident. They get it because someone is highly online, posting deliberately, day after day. We're hiring a Social Content Manager to own X and LinkedIn end-to-end: the posts, the POV, and the measurement of what resonates. The judgment lives with you — this is not a brand-voice-by-committee role.

What You'll Own

  • Daily content output across X and LinkedIn (50%): Original posts, threads, replies, comment-baiting on adjacent accounts, and derivative drops from flagship engineering posts on a weekly cadence. Stack: native tooling + AI-assisted drafting. Quality control: every post tied to a hypothesis (why this hook, this audience, this hour) and tracked against it.

  • Editorial POV & voice ownership (30%): What Giga does post, what we explicitly don't, how we sound. A short list of content we don't ship and the specific, technical, slightly contrarian stance that separates us from generic AI thought leadership.

  • Performance learning & iteration (20%): Weekly readout on what worked and what didn't, fed back into the editorial calendar. Measured on engagement quality (saves, replies from target accounts, profile visits from named companies) over vanity volume.

Who You Are

You are highly online — you can name three accounts that posted something interesting this week and explain why. You've built a social presence (your own or a brand's) that earned attention without buying it. You ship at high cadence and have opinions on what makes B2B SaaS social bad. You can find the post hidden inside a customer email, a sales call transcript, or a Slack thread. You move fast with AI tools but the judgment is yours.

Where You Might Come From

In-house social leads at engineering-first companies (Vercel, Linear, Anthropic, Notion). Indie creators or writers with a tech audience. Founders or early operators who built a personal brand worth following. Earlier-career candidates who are exceptionally sharp, fast, and digitally fluent.

Perks & Benefits

  • Catered lunch daily + dinner stipend

  • $150/month wellness benefit (gym, fitness classes, mental health)

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) plan

  • Paid parental leave (12 weeks maternal, 6 weeks paternal)

  • Commuter benefits

Giga is an equal opportunity employer. We're committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status.

Practice Questions

💡Technical Questions (3)
  • 1.How would you extract a compelling social post from a dense, highly technical engineering update or a complex customer success transcript?
  • 2.Walk me through your process for measuring social performance. What metrics do you prioritize and what do you ignore?
  • 3.How do you leverage AI in your daily content workflow while ensuring the output doesn't sound like generic AI-generated slop?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to defend a specific editorial stance or post that went against the internal consensus or standard industry thought leadership.
  • 2.Describe a time you found a hidden story in an unlikely place—like a customer email, Slack thread, or sales call—and turned it into a viral or high-performing piece of content.
  • 3.Give me an example of when you had to ship content at a very high cadence. How did you maintain quality without burning out?
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.Giga's leadership wants to post a generic 'We are thrilled to announce our $61M Series A!' tweet. How do you handle this, given the JD's mandate to avoid generic AI thought leadership?
  • 2.It's Tuesday afternoon. Your weekly flagship engineering post underperformed, and your weekly readout is on Friday. What do you do between now and then?
