Job Description

A fast-growing hospitality and lifestyle company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple business units and locations throughout NYC. This is a highly visible role working closely with senior finance leadership, offering strong long-term growth potential within the organization. The ideal candidate will come from a hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or multi-unit environment and enjoy operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

  • Maintain general ledger activity and supporting schedules

  • Assist with AP, AR, cash management, and bank reconciliations

  • Analyze revenue reporting and operational financial data

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives

  • Assist with audits, compliance, and sales tax filings

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of accounting experience within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or multi-unit operations

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and operational accounting

  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • CPA or CPA-track preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Hospitality POS systems and payroll platforms

  • Multi-entity or multi-location accounting environments

Compensation:
$90,000-110,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
