Practice Questions

💡Technical Questions (3)
  • 1.Can you walk me through your process for setting up and executing an in-vivo efficacy study using a xenograft mouse model, from tumor implantation to endpoint analysis?
  • 2.Describe your technique and the anatomical landmarks you use for intravenous (IV) tail vein injections in mice. How do you ensure accurate delivery and minimize animal distress?
  • 3.How do you differentiate between a syngeneic and a xenograft mouse model, and what are the specific considerations for running an efficacy study in each?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to collaborate with a cross-functional team, such as in vitro scientists or pharmacologists, to advance a therapeutic candidate.
  • 2.Describe a situation where you encountered unexpected results or an anomaly in your in vivo data. How did you handle it?
  • 3.Give an example of a time when you had to manage multiple in vivo studies or tasks simultaneously. How did you prioritize and ensure all data was accurately recorded?
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You are running a PK study that requires multiple blood draws from a single mouse over a few hours. During the later time points, you are having difficulty obtaining enough blood from the designated collection site. What do you do?
  • 2.During a routine tumor measurement session, you notice that a mouse in your study has lost significant body weight and appears lethargic, which are signs of potential toxicity or severe tumor burden. How do you proceed?
