  • 1.How do you approach creating and implementing a healthcare plan for an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and what specific biological or behavioral factors do you consider?
  • 2.In this role, you will provide medical oversight and technical assistance to staff. How do you ensure that non-medical staff correctly implement healthcare plans and follow clinical protocols?
  • 3.Can you walk me through your process for conducting a clinical assessment on a patient who has difficulty communicating their physical pain or discomfort due to a severe brain injury or developmental disability?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time when you had to advocate for a patient's wellbeing when their needs were not being fully met or understood by others on the care team.
  • 2.Describe a situation where you had to use creative problem-solving to overcome a challenge in a patient's care plan.
  • 3.Give me an example of a time you had to train or mentor staff on a complex clinical procedure or care protocol. How did you ensure they understood and could perform it reliably?
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You arrive at a community living home for a patient assessment, and the direct care staff inform you the patient has been unusually agitated all morning but has no obvious physical symptoms. The staff insists it's just behavioral. What do you do?
  • 2.You are coordinating care with an external medical center partner who is proposing a treatment plan that conflicts with the person-centered, independent living goals of your patient at Sevita. How do you handle this collaboration?
