Job Description

Recruitment Consultant – US Architecture, Engineering & Construction Market - Oldham

An ambitious and fast-growing recruitment business is looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant to join its specialist US Architecture, Engineering & Construction division.

Established just over a year ago, the business has already generated more than £500k in billings and is quickly building a reputation within the US market for delivering high-quality, relationship-led recruitment solutions. The leadership team has a proven track record of successfully building and scaling recruitment businesses focused on the American market, offering a genuine opportunity to learn from experienced operators in a high-growth environment.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious recruiter who wants to be part of a business early in its journey, where progression, earning potential and long-term growth are all very real and achievable.

The Opportunity

The successful consultant will recruit exclusively into the US Architecture, Engineering & Construction market, partnering with clients across sectors including commercial construction, infrastructure, engineering and residential construction.

The business takes a quality-over-quantity approach to recruitment. Consultants are trusted to manage their desks like business owners, with a strong focus on outcomes and delivery rather than excessive KPIs or micromanagement.

From day one, consultants are given the tools, support and mentorship needed to succeed, with leadership heavily invested in helping individuals build sustainable, high-performing desks.

What’s on Offer

  • Uncapped commission structure with no threshold

  • Up to 30% commission

  • EMI share options available for the next hires joining the business

  • Opportunity to work alongside leaders with a strong history of scaling US recruitment markets

  • Supportive, collaborative environment focused on long-term success

  • Clear progression opportunities as the business continues to grow

  • Mature culture centred around performance and outcomes rather than activity metrics

  • Free parking

  • Office based in Oldham

The Ideal Background

The business is looking for someone who:

  • Has previous recruitment experience in either a 180 or 360 capacity

  • Is ambitious and motivated by growth and earning potential

  • Enjoys building long-term client and candidate relationships

  • Wants to be part of a growing business where they can make a genuine impact

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

  • Has a proactive and commercially driven mindset

  • This is an opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth, with the chance to help shape its future while building a highly lucrative desk within the US market.
