What You Will Do

  • Solar PV, DC and AC schematic designs

  • Single line Diagrams and stringing layouts

  • Conduit and feeder schedules

  • Rooftop solar electrical and mechanical layouts

  • DC string calculations and general electrical AC distribution calculations

  • Coordination with other construction trades and disciplines

  • Back check of own work for accuracy and completeness before submission to others

  • Work closely with the Prime Electric Operations Project Manager to coordinate the design criteria

  • Perform other duties assigned by Director of Engineering

  • Review plans and technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates under the supervision of the Chief Engineer

  • Work on the design and on-going progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with other team members

  • Provide technical design, consultation, information, and assistance to internal and external customers

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit & Navis Manage a plus

  • Experience with industry manufacturer design tools (i.e solaredge designer, ironridge design tool, ClawOS etc.) a plus

  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel
