Keeley Construction is looking to add an experienced
Project Manager
to our Heavy Civil Team in New Braunfels, TX.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage risk in relation to job-site safety, owner contractual terms, city and/or county specifications, and other contractors that could be working on-site.

  • Create, update, and distribute the project schedule to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Work with suppliers and field supervision to coordinate material needs. Ensure that materials meet specifications and that packing slips match quantity delivered.

  • Work with estimators to organize a pre-construction meeting with key supervisors in operations to assist in the productive progress of a project.

  • Facilitate change orders and closeout documentation with clients.

  • Communicate and coordinate with local municipal inspectors, consulting firms, engineering firms, owner representatives, and local utilities.

  • Schedule subcontractors when needed and manage effective communication to avoid delays in operations.

  • Coordinate resources with other project managers, general superintendent, project engineer, etc.

  • Document all project impacts in relation to the project schedule, budget, and plans. Communicate these impacts to Business Unit Leader and owner or owner’s representative.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of five years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.

  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus.

  • Background of technical skills and understanding of heavy civil construction projects.

  • Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
