, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in
Joliet, IL
.

Schedule

  • 40 Hours Per Week

  • Mon & Wed 10:00 am - 7:00 pm; Tue, Thu & Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Closed Daily for lunch 1-hour

  • Required to Work 1 Late Shift

What You’ll Do

  • Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.

  • Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.

  • Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.

  • Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.

  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.

  • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.

  • Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.

  • Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.

  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.

  • Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).

  • Current NCCPA national certification required.

  • Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.

  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).

  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.

  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $128,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
