Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective outpatient pharmaceutical care to patients.

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and potential drug interactions.

  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and confidentiality standards.

  • Manage medication inventory, ensure stock rotation, and minimize waste.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to optimize therapy.

  • Document clinical interventions and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Monitor and report adverse drug events and safety concerns.

  • Utilize data and KPIs to track performance and contribute to growth targets.

  • Educate team members on new therapies, guidelines, and best practices.

  • Support outreach and patient engagement initiatives to expand clinic reach.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist with active pharmacy license and eligibility for local practice.

  • Provide outpatient pharmaceutical care with evidence-based prescribing and safety focus.

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and dosing.

  • Ensure regulatory, safety, and confidentiality compliance in all activities.

  • Counsel patients on medications, adherence strategies, and potential adverse effects.

  • Collaborate with physicians and health professionals to optimize therapy.

  • Accurate documentation of clinical interventions and maintenance of patient records.

  • Monitor and report adverse drug events; contribute to safety and quality improvements.

  • Inventory management: stock rotation, waste minimization, and controlled substance handling.

  • Utilize data, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance and growth targets.

  • Mentor and educate team on new therapies, guidelines, and best practices.

  • Support outreach and patient engagement to expand clinic reach.
