About the role

We’re hiring a
Yield Development Engineer
to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing and packaging operations through data-driven yield improvement initiatives.

This role focuses on analysing manufacturing and test data, identifying root causes of yield issues, and driving process improvements across complex production environments.

You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and integration teams to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and production performance.

What you’ll do

  • Analyse manufacturing, process, and test data to improve production yield

  • Investigate yield loss issues and identify root causes

  • Develop data-driven solutions to improve manufacturing performance

  • Monitor yield metrics and support real-time issue resolution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams

  • Prepare reports and communicate findings to technical stakeholders

  • Support process optimisation across advanced semiconductor packaging technologies

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, or yield engineering

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Python, JMP, or data analysis tools

  • Familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch beneficial

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, process flows, and yield analysis

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with wafer-level or package assembly manufacturing

  • Cross-functional project or stakeholder management experience

  • Background in advanced manufacturing environments
