100% Onsite in Michigan

Salary: $85,000 - 95,000

Overview

Looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing systems and machining requirements in a highly customized equipment environment. This role collaborates with engineering, procurement, and production to define effective processes and translate designs into scalable, efficient solutions. Offers autonomy and requires a hands-on, collaborative approach to solving complex manufacturing challenges.

Must Have

  • 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in packaging, automation, machining, or custom equipment environments

  • Strong SolidWorks proficiency with machine design experience

  • ERP experience (Syteline preferred), including BOMs, routing, and legacy data troubleshooting

  • Experience interfacing across Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing

  • Translate engineering requirements into manufacturable solutions & procurement-ready specifications, while creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation

  • Hands on with shop floor operations, including fixture design, customization, and builds

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes & product designs to ensure manufacturability & efficiency

  • Liaise Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, aligning design, production, sourcing

  • Collaborate with engineering teams in SolidWorks to improve form, fit, function, cost

  • Develop & maintain manufacturing documentation, tooling requirements, process workflows

  • Lead process improvements and partner with Quality to resolve issues, drive efficiency, and support continuous improvement
