Why This Opportunity Stands Out
If you are a Manufacturing Engineer who wants to make a visible impact, this is the kind of role where your work directly improves operations every day. Engineering is embedded in production — not separated from it. You’ll work closely with operations teams on the shop floor to solve problems, improve processes, and help drive the business forward.
This is a financially strong, employee-owned manufacturing company focused on long-term growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Employees share in the success they help create, creating a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and ownership.
Background:
Our client is a Milwaukee-based manufacturer and distributor specializing in millwork and building materials, including doors, mouldings, stair parts, and related products for residential and commercial applications. With a modern manufacturing environment and a strong reputation for quality and customer service, the company continues to invest in its people, processes, and equipment.
Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing operations, driving improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). This role is highly collaborative and focused on identifying bottlenecks, improving process flow, reducing waste, and implementing sustainable manufacturing solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to production, partnering with operators and leadership teams, and taking ownership of projects from concept through implementation.
