Job Description

We’re seeking a Facilities Services Manager to support a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace. This role oversees Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) projects to ensure seamless logistics and effective space utilization, while also leading employee commute programs such as shuttles, ridesharing, and parking in compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards. The position supports sustainability goals through Transportation Demand Management (TDM) and related initiatives, and runs key vendor partnerships across janitorial, landscaping, interior plants, and pest control services. We build and manage workspaces that evolve with our teams, believing commuting should be convenient and balanced while maintaining a high standard of facility operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
Moves and Space

  • Lead move planning and execution for both large relocations and day-to-day changes, serving as the primary liaison. Coordinate MAC logistics, maintain furniture inventories, and support flexible, efficient spaces with minimal disruption. Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required.

Employee Commute Coordination

  • Act as the Commute Coordinator, leading programs that connect employees to public transit, carpools, vanpools, biking, and walking options. Partner with local transit agencies, manage commuter programs, and ensure compliance with city requirements. Responsibilities include employee engagement, commute planning support, surveys, reporting for the City of Santa Clara, and organizing transportation events. Collaborate with organizations such as VTA, 511 Rideshare, Caltrain, Capitol Corridor, ACE Train, and BAAQMD.

Operational Management

  • Oversee soft services including janitorial, landscaping, parking, and commuter services, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and audits while fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace.

What We Need To See

  • 8+ overall years of experience in a similar role within a complex multinational corporate environment, preferably in a fast-paced technology organization and 3+ years leading a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business, Transportation/Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities operations, transportation programs, or space planning/MAC coordination

  • Experience in vendor and contract management within a global organization

  • Strong customer service, presentation, and communication skills

  • Proven experience managing budgets, including capital planning and financial oversight

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience designing and scaling workplace experience programs that enhance culture and engagement

  • Strong background in workplace strategy, communication, and change management

  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with an interest in emerging workplace technologies
