Job Description Summary
The Finance department at Bentley University welcomes applications for two lecturer positions to begin in Fall 2026. Ideal candidates will possess both teaching and industry experience. The department seeks candidates with expertise and experience (academia and/or industry) in areas such as investments, ESG investing, corporate finance, FinTech, fixed income valuation, financial planning & wealth management, financial modeling, and real estate. Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, Morningstar Direct, and FactSet is highly desirable as the integration of these resources into finance courses is a priority for the department. The expected course load is 8 courses per academic year. Salary is competitive.

The Finance department encourages and values experiential learning and offers an array of courses supporting BS Finance, BS Financial Technology (FinTech) which is offered jointly by the Finance and Computer Information Systems departments, MS Finance (with a STEM designated Financial Analytics Track), and MBA (Finance concentration) degrees at Bentley. The MSF program is highly ranked (first among U.S. institutions and forty-fourth globally) in the global Master's programs in Finance rankings by Financial Times (https://www.bentley.edu/news/financial-times-ranks-bentley-masters-finance-degree-1-us). We also offer the Advanced Standing in Finance program (https://www.bentley.edu/academics/undergraduate-programs/advanced-standing-programs) where some of our top students pursue the BS and MS degrees at Bentley. The Trading Room (with 57 seating capacity) offers 24 Bloomberg terminals and subscriptions to FactSet, Capital IQ, Morningstar Direct, and Financial Trading Systems (FTS). The Finance department provides strong support for faculty research through summer research grants and Bentley’s subscription to a range of financial data including Factset, IBES, ISS databases, Thompson Reuters, CRSP Mutual Fund, Trace, SDC, to name a few, in addition to standard databases such as CRSP and Compustat. Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should have a master's degree in finance or a related field.

Pay Transparency

The grade range is based on market data and the scope of responsibilities. Final pay will depend on your experience, education, and other relevant qualifications.
