Job Description

Responsibilities

  • 70 % of the role - Life cycle management of Contractual Workforce.

  • 20 % of the role - On roll Life cycle mgmt.

  • 10 % of the role - Demonstrate Conceptual HR understanding - initiate/Lead/Participation in National/Zone Core HR projects.

  • Collaborate with business teams and act as a sounding board to the business teams on the critical issue of Diversity, Culture, Performance Management.

  • Align business practice with people to drive effective performance.

  • Identify, analyze, scale and implement best practices suited for the organization.

  • Accountable for managing Blue Collar workforce Lifecycle management and retention in the assigned facility.

  • Develop effective partnership with employees, managers and ensure a positive work environment.

  • Create a robust employee network.

  • Create a People First Culture in the facility.

  • Look for ways to proactively improve & enhance processes.

  • Be the guardian of change management - for changes that have any people implications.

  • Create effective analytical tools & reports to analyze employee information.

  • Identify HR intervention needs, create appropriate programs, actively participate in HR interventions & projects and ensure timely completion.

  • Manage available resources effectively and promote HR capabilities.

  • Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders within the HR organization.

Qualifications

  • MBA - HR / MSW Preferred

  • Strong Leadership Abilities.

  • Ownership mindset.

  • Expertise in Volume / Mass Hiring (Blue collar).

  • Passion to lead a successful and challenging work environment.

  • Strategic Thinker / Change Management Skills - Processes, Policies, Training and systems.

  • Effective contribution towards strategic initiatives and efficient in performing tactical & operational work.

  • Hands on experience in Anchoring ER/IR initiatives.

  • Sound knowledge of labor laws, and proven track record on anchoring Labour issues.

  • Handheld larger span ( ~2000+) blue collar work force

  • Handheld a Box consisting of minimum 2L to 10L Sq foot Warehouse / Plant

  • Proven record of hiring blue collar work force individually
