JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a driven, results-focused General Manager to lead our branch to new heights. This role is perfect for someone with a strong sales background who thrives on closing deals, driving growth, and building lasting customer relationships. The General Manager will oversee staff, budgets, and daily operations while implementing strategies to boost profitability. This position offers incentives based on branch net income, giving you direct rewards for your success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the local warehouse facility.

  • Devise and execute strategies to accomplish growth objectives.

  • Maintain financial budgets and optimize expenditure.

  • Enforce company policies and procedures.

  • Foster a productive work environment conducive to professional development for employees.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to oversee the recruitment and training processes for new staff.

  • Assess and enhance operational and financial performance.

  • Lead the employee Performance Review process.

  • Compile and present routine reports for senior management.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations among staff.

  • Offer resolutions to various issues such as declining profits, interpersonal conflicts, and competitive challenges.

  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The General Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the capacity of a General Manager or an equivalent managerial position.

  • Bachelor's degree a related field (preferred).

  • You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Proficient in strategic planning and financial budgeting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comprehensive understanding of various business processes and functions, including but not limited to finance, human resources, procurement, and operations.

  • Possesses strong analytical capabilities for informed decision-making.

  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time.

  • Exceptional organizational prowess coupled with effective leadership abilities.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a strong team culture.

  • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrated aptitude in problem-solving within a professional context.
