Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sales, building high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence. This role oversees daily business operations, staffing, financial performance, food quality, and brand standards to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Lead day-to-day restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment

  • Ensure outstanding food quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and customer satisfaction

  • Maintain compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures

  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements as needed

  • Ensure all health, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders

  • Create schedules based on business needs and staffing demands

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, accountability, and development opportunities

  • Motivate the team to achieve operational and customer service goals

Financial Performance

  • Drive sales and profitability through strong operational leadership

  • Manage labor, food, and controllable costs effectively

  • Review sales and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience preferred

  • Quick-service or fast-paced restaurant experience strongly preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and make decisions in a high-volume environment

  • Experience managing labor, food costs, and operational performance

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Food safety certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
