We’re partnering with a growing global technology company to find a talented
Application / Field Application Engineer
. This hybrid role combines customer-facing application engineering with hands-on field service support—perfect for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and working directly with customers.

What You’ll Do

🔧 Application Engineering

  • Act as a key liaison between customers and internal engineering teams to diagnose product issues and deliver solutions

  • Support software and application-related customer requests and enhancements

  • Deliver customer training (on-site and remote), and develop technical documentation and best practices

  • Create and present technical product demonstrations

  • Partner with sales teams on product specifications and customer requirements

  • Collaborate with field service teams to support installations and customer applications

  • Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and technical expertise

🛠 Field Service Engineering

  • Respond to customer service requests, troubleshooting issues both remotely and on-site

  • Perform equipment installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance

  • Provide customer training on system operation and maintenance

  • Evaluate system performance and customer usage

  • Support urgent or escalated service needs as required

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry (Field Service Engineer or Field Applications Engineer)

  • Familiarity with inspection or metrology tools

  • Working knowledge of tools such as MATLAB, Python, Linux, or similar

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
