Job description

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer to manage environmental compliance and regulatory processes for projects requiring Environmental Clearance (EC). The role involves preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, obtaining statutory consents (CTE/CTO), post-EC compliance management, and conducting field monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and coordination of

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
reports for projects requiring Environmental Clearance (EC).
  • Liaison with regulatory authorities for obtaining:

+ Consent to Establish (CTE)
+ Consent to Operate (CTO)
+ Post-Environmental Clearance (Post-EC) compliances

  • Conducting baseline environmental monitoring (air, water, soil, noise).

  • Coordinating with laboratories and consultants for environmental data analysis.

  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and statutory norms.

  • Preparation and submission of compliance reports to regulatory bodies.

  • Supporting public hearing processes and documentation (if applicable).

  • Maintaining environmental documentation and records as per regulatory requirements.

  • Site inspections and field assessments to ensure environmental safeguards are implemented.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering / Environmental Science or related field.

  • 0 to 5 years of experience in EIA preparation and environmental compliance (preferred).

  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.

  • Experience in handling CTE, CTO, and EC processes.
