Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Engineer based in Sunshine Coast, QLD. The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as conducting environmental impact assessments, preparing environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations, and contributing to wastewater treatment and waste management projects. Additionally, the role involves providing environmental consulting services, reviewing technical studies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop sustainable and effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Environmental Compliance and Environmental Impact Assessment

  • Familiarity with Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management processes

  • Proficiency in Environmental Consulting and developing management plans

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills for technical and regulatory challenges

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Understanding of relevant environmental laws, policies, and regulations

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and report-writing skills

  • Previous experience in project management or working with multidisciplinary teams is a plus
