Job Description

Job Role:

The Brand Manager will be responsible for
building and protecting the DishTV brand
across India by planning and executing
brand campaigns activities
.

This role ensures that
what DishTV says, how it looks, and how it shows up on-ground
is consistent, relevant, and effective across regions, channels, and customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Own the

DishTV brand positioning
and ensure consistency across all communication.
  • Translate business goals into

clear brand messages
for different customer segments and regions.
  • Ensure brand guidelines (logo, colors, tone, language) are followed across ATL, BTL, digital, trade, and retail.

2. Marketing Communication (Marcom)

  • Plan and execute

integrated marketing campaigns
across: Digital, print, outdoor, radio, trade communication
  • Work closely with

creative agencies, media agencies, and internal teams
.
  • Develop campaign briefs, approve creatives, and manage timelines.

  • Adapt national campaigns into

regional and language-specific communication
.
  • Design and execute: Retail branding, Dealer boards, danglers, standees & local activations, roadshows, society activations

  • Coordinate with

sales, trade marketing, and regional teams
for execution.

3. Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Create

annual and quarterly brand calendars
.
  • Manage campaign budgets and ensure

ROI discipline
.
  • Track campaign performance using: Reach & frequency, brand recall, footfall uplift

  • Lead / enquiry impact (where applicable)

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the

single point of contact
for branding across teams - Product, Digital marketing, Sales & Trade, Customer experience
  • Manage agencies and vendors end-to-end.

Key Deliverables (What success looks like)

  • Strong, consistent DishTV brand presence across India

  • High-quality campaign execution (on-time, on-brand)

  • Effective BTL programs that support sales teams

  • Improved brand recall and consideration

  • Smooth coordination between brand, sales, and digital teams

Experience

  • 10-12 years

of experience in: Brand management
  • Experience in

consumer-facing brands
preferred: Telecom, FMCG, Consumer electronics, Media / Entertainment
  • Hands-on experience with

regional marketing and multi-language campaigns
is a must.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of

branding fundamentals
  • Excellent

communication and briefing skills
  • Experience managing

creative and media agencies
  • Budget management and basic ROI understanding

  • Comfortable working in a

high-scale, execution-heavy environment
