Job Description

District Chef needed for school food service program in the Essex County, NJ area. Monday through Friday Full time position. Occasional nights and weekend for catering events. Fast-paced team environment.

Culinary experience is required. Must be willing to travel with in the district. Chef testing will be given. Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools.

  • Must have experience in catering.

  • Must have experience in satellite preparation.

  • K-12 experience a plus.

  • Creating different menus items while adhering to school food service guideline NSLP.

  • ServSafe® certification required.

  • Inventory and quality control.

  • Maintain a clean kitchen

  • Follow safety rules at all times.
