Role Overview

We are seeking a Designer to join our architecture studio. This role supports project teams in design development, presentation drawings, and documentation using Revit, SketchUp, and graphic software. You will collaborate with Principals, Senior Designers, and project teams across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Documentation


  • Generate and organize design ideas using CAD (Revit, SketchUp) and graphic software


  • Produce designs, working drawings, schedules, details, and presentation materials


  • Assist with project goals, plan layout, materials, and color selections


  • Revise and modify documents based on red lines and mark-ups

Coordination & Collaboration


  • Coordinate with outside parties and integrate information into project documents


  • Assemble and coordinate drawings into cohesive schematic document sets


  • Prepare design documents for submission to owners, contractors, and AHJ

Research & Development


  • Research zoning codes, building codes, and environmental regulations


  • Gain knowledge of entitlement processes and local design guidelines


  • Assist with site visits, as-builts, and code research as needed

Qualifications

Required


  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent experience


  • 3+ years of experience in a professional architecture office


  • Multi-family and mixed-use architecture experience


  • Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office


  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

Preferred


  • Experience with CAD and Enscape


  • Broad experience across various project types and phases


  • Interest in expanding knowledge of design trends
