Job Description

About the Role:

An internationally recognized design studio is looking for a talented Design Lead to join their growing Los Angeles team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong intermediate-level design professional to work on beautifully crafted hospitality, lifestyle and luxury residential projects within a highly creative and collaborative studio environment. The studio is known for delivering refined, detail-driven spaces with a strong focus on materiality, storytelling and elevated user experience.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while taking ownership of key aspects of projects across concept development, FF&E coordination and project delivery. The team is looking for someone confident enough to run with tasks independently, contribute ideas and help bridge the gap between junior and senior staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to continue growing their career within a highly respected studio that values creativity, collaboration and long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of high-end hospitality and residential projects across multiple phases

  • Support the development of design concepts, presentations, FF&E packages, material palettes and detailed project packages

  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, vendors and fabricators throughout the project lifecycle

  • Assist in mentoring and supporting junior team members within the studio

  • Produce and contribute to high-quality design documentation, drawings and visual presentations

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of professional experience within architecture, interiors or multidisciplinary design studios

  • Strong hospitality and/or luxury residential project experience preferred

  • Experience working on FF&E packages, furniture selections, finishes and material coordination

  • Excellent design sensibility with a strong eye for detail, materials and spatial experience

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Revit
