Role Snapshot:

The person will be responsible for growing online traffic and engagement in the Govt Job Exam Prep & Current Affairs section through efficient planning and writing articles for exam aspirants. He/she needs to be aware of the latest developments in the Govt Exam Prep ecosystem and will be required to possess in-depth understanding of what all is tested in the various Govt Exams such as Civil Services, SSC, Banking, Defense, Teaching, and so on. The ideal candidate would have appeared for any of the Govt Exams, have excellent English language skills, workable understanding of Hindi, good research skills, understanding of writing for the digital medium, team management skills, ability to forge a strong professional network with coaching institutes and influencers in the education and test prep industry and will be required to ensure sustainable growth of the Exam Prep and Current Affairs section.

What You Will Do:

• Create digital content and manage a team of content writers engaged in writing informative articles and exam prep material for the various Govt. Exam aspirants

• Conduct thorough research and come up with original content to establish thought leadership in the given sphere.

• Help develop error free, plagiarism free and reader friendly content as per SEO guidelines.

• Guide the team by performing extensive QC and suggesting best practices.

• Utilize own experience and enhance knowledge base to be able to answer student queries intelligently.

• Develop and maintain professional ties with faculty, exam governing bodies, and exam toppers to get newsworthy and real-time information.

• Work in collaboration with Product, SEO, sales & marketing and other departments to ensure that suitable content is produced for the end user.

• Be a networker and connect with faculty, test prep institutes, exam toppers and senior academicians to enrich articles with quotes/interviews from experts.

• Work closely with the Content Lead and Head - Content & Strategy to help establish credibility for Jagran Josh as a growth driver in the Govt Exam Prep and Current Affairs section

• Keep abreast of all new developments in the Govt. Exam Test Prep ecosystem.

• Carry out any other work-related tasks as found suitable by the management.

•Well versed with all ongoing development in Govt Vacancy and Professional Exam Prep sphere, various national and state level exams, topics and syllabus covered under verbal, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning section of aptitude testing done in these exams

• Ability to research, write, edit and develop fresh content independently.
