Practice Questions

💡Technical Questions (3)
  • 1.How do you approach identifying and reducing recurrent machine faults on wet clean tools like the Akrion GAMA or Screen 80B?
  • 2.Can you explain your methodology for reducing defectivity and improving yield in a high-volume cleans process?
  • 3.Describe your experience implementing Six-Sigma statistical process control methods in a semiconductor fab. How do you use SPC to maintain process stability?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to deal with multiple shifting priorities in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. How did you manage it?
  • 2.Give an example of a time you worked with a cross-functional team—such as Maintenance, Device Engineering, or the Analytical Lab—to solve a complex process problem.
  • 3.Describe a situation where you had to train others or present a complex dataset to a diverse audience. How did you ensure they understood the information?
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You are responsible for multiple tools across multiple platforms, and a critical wet bench goes down unexpectedly, severely impacting cycle time for a key customer. At the same time, you receive an email about a long-term yield improvement project due tomorrow. What do you do?
  • 2.You notice a recurring machine fault on an FSI Mercury that is causing intermittent scrap, but Maintenance says the hardware checks out fine. How do you approach this discrepancy?
