Position Overview:

Seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5+ years of civil engineering experience to support and lead design efforts on land development and/or infrastructure projects in the Houston area. This role will involve project management responsibilities, technical oversight, and client interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects (site development, infrastructure, or municipal work)

  • Prepare and review grading, drainage, paving, and utility plans

  • Perform and seal engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

  • Mentor EITs and junior engineers

  • Oversee permitting and entitlement processes

  • Conduct QA/QC of engineering designs and plans

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

  • Active PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain)

  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience

  • Strong background in land development and/or infrastructure design

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Strong knowledge of Houston-area codes, standards, and permitting processes

  • Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills
