You will drive insight-based recommendations by analyzing complex data, partnering cross-functionally to deliver effective category strategies, and developing client-specific reporting. Build trusted advisor relationships through regular client engagement, create compelling sales presentations, and provide ongoing performance analysis aligned to KPIs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data to develop insight-driven recommendations aligned with business strategies and objectives.

  • Support the category review process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive category management solutions.

  • Independently develop, manage, and maintain client-specific reporting to track performance against defined strategies and KPIs.

  • Establish and maintain regular client engagement to build trusted advisor relationships with clients and internal business managers.

  • Develop high-quality sales presentations using syndicated, shopper, and internal data sources to address key business challenges and opportunities.

  • Maintain strong client connectivity to ensure alignment on KPIs, innovation initiatives, and performance updates.

  • Provide follow-up analysis, summarize outcomes, and document success stories.

Qualifications
Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Category Management Certification preferred

  • Equivalent related work experience may be substituted for educational requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, or category management

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, and advanced macros; experience with Power BI is a strong asset.

  • Experience working with syndicated data and/or space management tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to diagnose business situations and develop actionable solutions.

  • Strong data mining capabilities using CPG math concepts and analytical tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects, including timelines, communication, and deliverables.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and determine required information for effective diagnosis.

  • Results-driven mindset with a commitment to meeting internal and external stakeholder expectations.

  • Ability to execute strategic objectives while providing proactive insights to keep priorities aligned.
