Backend Engineer - Python/FastApi

Requirements
What You'll Do:

• Develop, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs utilizing Python & FastAPI


• Guarantee that APIs are secure, efficient, and thoroughly documented


• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT


• Design and manage structured databases to ensure data integrity, optimal performance, and scalability


• Work closely with frontend and product teams to achieve smooth integrations


• Research and apply cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) as preferred


• Engage in code reviews and promote best practices for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code


• Utilize AI-driven development tools like Windsurf, Claude, and GPT to enhance productivity


• Take initiative in solving problems, experiment boldly, and improve processes independently without relying solely on assigned tasks

What We're Looking For:

• Strong expertise in Python & FastAPI


• Solid understanding of JavaScript and Python-based frameworks


• Proficiency with Git and best practices in version control


• Deep knowledge of structured databases, backend architecture, and data modeling


• Extensive experience with secure API design and authentication/authorization methods


• Ability to create clear, context-rich documentation for APIs and backend systems


• Curious, self-driven, and proactive attitude — beyond merely completing assigned tasks


• Passion for learning new technologies, experimenting, and refining workflows


• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with ReactJS / NextJS


• Familiarity with Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)


• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools


• Experience with testing frameworks, caching strategies, database optimization, and microservices architecture


• Familiarity with AI agentic frameworks such as CrewAI and LangChain
