Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor of Exercise Science (Special Appointment) role located at Curry College’s Milton, MA campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Exercise Science, advising students, developing curriculum, and participating in departmental activities. The role includes contributing to the college's academic mission by engaging in scholarly activities, supporting student learning, and contributing to program growth. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with faculty, mentor students, and foster partnerships with relevant organizations.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related fields

  • Experience teaching undergraduate courses and developing curriculum

  • Strong academic advising and mentoring skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Evidence of scholarly activities or research in the field of Exercise Science

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Exercise Science or a related discipline required

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable academic environment

  • Experience building community partnerships is a plus
