About The Role

  • The Assistant eCommerce Manager is responsible for the day to day holistic trading of their categories online and also how their categories show up across boots.com; driving total boots.com revenue and profit targets and also our market share ambitions.

  • The Assistant eCommerce Manager will be seen as the expert in their category, holding a clear and detailed understanding of the drivers for the category and the market, with insight about how to drive conversion and increase customer acquisition.

  • The individual will be responsible for delivery of new product launches, salesplan, online trade plans and owning the digital strategy for their categories, including and not limited to scoping out potential new partnerships with suppliers and keeping abreast of competitor activity.

  • The role involves managing multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure your categories are appropriately supported and we are staying on top of market trends and changes.

  • The individual will support development initiatives and process improvements across boots.com, ensuring that eCommerce trading and customer requirements are captured.

What You'll Need To Have

  • Trading experience with strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse, interpret and articulate financial performance.

  • Understanding of online/digital trading levers and performance marketing – confident in using data and insight to drive performance and in building and delivering trade plans specifically for online.

  • Willingness to push boundaries and take calculated risks to gain a competitive advantage.

  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management – confident engaging, influencing and holding to account team members, senior stakeholders and third parties.
