Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and support month-end close, including account reconciliations

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining internal controls across departments

  • Partner with the CFO on audit and compliance activities, including GAAP audits and IRS Form 990 filings

  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership

  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Support accounts payable and payroll processing activities

  • Manage reporting for contributed revenue streams

  • Record weekly general ledger entries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of public or corporate accounting experience

  • Prior supervisory experience; ERP system experience is a plus

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
