Salary/Hourly Rate
$27/hr - $35/hr

Position Overview
This Accountant role is a dynamic, hands-on position supporting day-to-day financial operations while working closely with the CFO. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, expense reporting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is eager to grow their accounting experience in a small, collaborative team. This is a hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).

Responsibilities Of The Accountant

  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.

  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.

  • Process accounts payable, billing, and invoicing.

  • Conduct account analysis and maintain financial records.

  • Manage employee expense reports from submission through approval.

  • Track and maintain fixed assets.

  • Assist with sales and financial reporting analysis.

  • Support daily accounting operations and ad hoc projects as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accountant:

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience (Accountant, Junior Accountant, or similar role).

  • Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct or similar preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Comfortable in a structured, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accountant:

  • Experience in a small team or high-touch finance environment.

  • Exposure to financial reporting or analysis.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or other Chinese dialects is a plus, but not required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
