Practice Questions

💡Technical Questions (3)
  • 1.Can you walk me through your process for assembling a scene and blocking out a 60-second gameplay-style video in Unreal Engine from pre-made assets?
  • 2.How do you utilize Blueprints to set up basic gameplay logic for an advertising video, and how does this integrate with your Sequencer shots?
  • 3.What is your approach to lighting and composition in Unreal Engine to ensure a gameplay video captures the viewer's attention in the first few seconds?
🎯Behavioral Questions (3)
  • 1.Tell me about a time you had to iterate heavily on a cinematic or gameplay video based on client feedback that completely changed your initial vision.
  • 2.Describe a project where you had to wear multiple hats—such as setting up logic, animating characters, and adjusting lighting—to get a short video across the finish line.
  • 3.Give me an example of a time you worked on a remote, freelance project. How did you ensure clear communication and alignment with the team or client?
🧩Situational Questions (2)
  • 1.You are given a batch of pre-made assets to assemble a scene, but they lack visual consistency and the lighting looks flat. How do you make this look like an appealing, high-quality gameplay ad?
  • 2.You've blocked out a 60-second gameplay video, but the pacing feels slow and the client is worried it won't retain user attention. What specific adjustments do you make in Unreal Engine?
